Moving - need help - not new just need reassurance
 

Hey guys,
we are moving next weekend. I am one of the " slow and steady" AND " all my eggs in one basket"
Im not looking to open a new acct, just want help on moving this one safely.

Its stealth. I ONLY use the ip at desk top ( which is crapping out)
so , if i start logging on from my laptop now, from same ip, would anything cause a red flag?
My account is over a year old, and not wanting to start over

Look up how to transfer all your browser data from your desktop to the laptop and you shouldn't have any problems. As long as all your desktop's cookies are transferred over it will appear to them that you're logging in from the same desktop as always.

Yep, as said above.

Basically a new computer means it doesn't ahve a history or cookies at all about the account. On their end they'll see that someone else is accessing the account and they may flag it, making sure that it's you and ask for confirmation which you want to avoid.

Import browser cookies simple and easy .. good idea to transfer cookies and log in with the home ip before moving .. this worked fine for me across over 50 accounts

You should be fine, but to be extra sure you could send over the cookies as well to the new laptop and be even more certain you wont run into issues.
