Will Shipsaver link eBay accounts?

Have to switch to Shipsaver after Inkfrog disabled Stamps.com.

Is this service safe to use? I'm just concerned about linking accounts.

Usually things like inkfrog and ship"station" don't link accounts. I've heard many users here use them.

But shipsaver, not heard of it, but it would be better for you to email them directly, and ask for a response from the developers. Word your email properly, and that's the best response you'll get.

The only other way is link two or more accounts to shipsaver, wait for one to get suspended, and hope the others dont.

Yeah, unfortunately Inkfrog is complete crap now as a result of this change. Inkfrog is now offering this free service (shipsaver) as a replacement for their stamps.com auctiva implementation. If it works and doesn't link accounts- that's cool because it will save me money... as I won't need Stamps.com anymore and because Inkfrog will only be useful as a listing/relisting tool from now on I'm thinking about canceling that too and just listing/relisting directly through eBay. I've gotten so many duplicate listing infractions solely b/c of Inkfrog it's probably for the best.

Just a quick update.

Talked to Inkfrog about this issue. They said that like Inkfrog, the accounts won't link on eBay's end.

I sent ShipSaver support a message but didn't get a response. I'm going to go ahead and start linking some accounts and hope that Inkfrog is right.

As for the decision or not whether to keep Inkfrog, I'm thinking I'm going to cancel their service. Some of my gallery images disappear after a while as well as some of my listings. It is convenient for listing but with just a little more work I can login and get more reliable listing work done directly through eBay.

Good luck. I've heard if you link multiple eBay accounts to the stamps.com software it's a sure-fire account linkage because the same API key is used on two different eBay accounts.

I've also heard shipstation is 100% safe as long as you separate your accounts into "warehouses" from within their software. I don't know which category Shipsaver would fall into since I haven't used them.

Re: Will Shipsaver link eBay accounts?

After doing a little research, it appears that Inkfrog owns Shipsaver and it appears their token is the same... So I'm going to add all my accounts. Not sure at this point what I'm going to do about Inkfrog. The one pro about Inkfrog is it's convenient to have everything in one place. Cons are listings disappearing, duplicate listings, and gallery images disappearing over time.

Yes shipsaver is safe but they're currently down b/c there is no money in their easypost account apparently? Not a good sign if that's the case.

It just says sorry we are unable to process labels right now at the top of the page. It's for all accounts on shipsaver.

Anyone have any ideas of which alternate shipping service to use now?

I'm just using ebay for now. I have 30 accounts and am wrapping up my sales and ending all my listings tonight or tomorrow. Printing out the bulk labels on eBay is convenient. Only thing I will miss about shipsaver is I can use my credit card and get cashback on postage purchases but only have to print out a few days worth of sales so no biggie. Hopefully they'll put some money in their easypost account before new years day when I relist

do you just transfer fund from credit card to your easypost account?
would that be considered a cash advance?

We don't have easypost accounts... we have shipsaver accounts. Shipsaver has an easypost account but... um... it's apparently been drained of funds for almost 3 days now. Hopefully they don't void all of our labels, collect our balances and take off on us

Re: Will Shipsaver link eBay accounts?

what is wrong with Paypal shipnow,it is free, but you have to have a Paypal account.
or USPS.com for priority and express mail

lymbo70 12-21-2019 11:09 PM

Re: Will Shipsaver link eBay accounts?

Shipsaver would auto populate the buyer information also they would allow first class letters which paypal ship-now doesnt offer.
I am looking into VIP parcel as some mentioned, it seems to be like shipsaver.
Any experience with them?
