Constant Flagging by Competitor
 

Since September I have constantly been dealing with a competitor flagging me out of a category. All of my accounts. Ive been forced to stop because ebay blindly just slaps you with 7 day suspensions until its 30 days and next well.. I dont want to know whats after 30 days. Has anyone had this issue or are you able to call in for some sort of protection or something? It has to be the stupidest thing. Even craigslist wont just take you out for one report/flag...

After the 30 days it'd be a full suspension.

This is tough, what type of products are these? Do you have a good feedback and history ?
If I were you, I'd call in to eBay and ask for help.
You don't happen to really know which competitor has been doing this right?

How do you know it's a competitor taking down your listings?

Are you selling VeRO or branded items?

It could be the IP rights holder's agent doing it.

Its a competitor with multiple accounts who has been harrassing me for a good 6 months then it turned into flagging. Calling ebay is usually worthless and I try not to call with stealth but I may have to.. yes my accounts were established with good feedback.. ive been in the same category for 5yrs...

If calling eBay is worthless, why is it working for him? If you are 100% it's him, why not play his dirty game and do the same to his listings?

That’s right play him as he is playing you, I always call eBay in relation to my stealth accounts and never had an issue with them. I hate competitors who play dirty in my eyes there thick and do not know the fundamentals of running a business

But to be honest if that were to happen to me I’d take this person out I’d buy from him from various accounts leave negs call eBay on every occasion and use the reporting tool.

It will take sometime but you’ll win in the end I’ve been in the same situation before.

Well it is obvious you are selling vero items, I do too and some of the rights holders message me and I take the listing for a week then back up for several months.

My opinion it sounds like its vero items and ebay is cracking down during the upcoming holiday season been happening to my accounts also
