How important is having an ebay us account

Hello.
I have a question maybe someone knows.
Is there any eBay discrimination for sellers from other countries?
I have suspicions that sellers from the United States, ebay is more loyal than sellers from other countries.
If so, then it probably makes sense to purchase stealth accounts, maybe my sales will go better?
Now it so happens that I live in Russia.

I doubt the issue is discrimination, but rather buyers opting to buy from sellers who seem to be located within the country, so there's no surprise customs charges or late deliveries.

However, you can test your hypothesis out for yourself. For example if you have a Russian PayPal, you can attach it to a UK eBay and generate sales. You wont need a UK PayPal.
