Can I block an EB user from my Listing?

Okay, I've got my new account up and running and someone who bought a similar item to what I am selling right now sent me a nasty message. Apparently what he bought was a copy (Item is less than $5 too) and thinks that since both me and the other lister are located in the same city that we are the same person...we are not.

Man after getting kicked off for being "associated" with my old accounts I don't want to get kicked off for being associated with someone I don't even know:eek:

I know on singles sites than you can block a user who has been abusive to you from viewing your profile, is there a way to do something similar on EB? If he bids, trying to make the same claim against me (mine is real, but he has a bogus one that he could claim came from me) I know there is a way to cancel his bid, but can I just block this pest completely?

I don't want to put my new account in jeopardy now that I have it up and running and on my way to the magic 10 FB and 30 day milestone.

Yes, I block people all the time, I ese the Blocked bidder list. It can be found under help section in how to block a bidder.

Anyone like tis guy who gives you any crap, block them, but many will just use another name so be ready for him.

what the quickest way there?

they have so many different topics listed, ny the time I actually find it the uaction will be over.

Also, does this just block him from bidding or does is block my listings from showing up in his searches...that'd be too cool

Blocks just his bidding.

I am not on the puter that allows me to give you a link.

Just type in blocked bidder in the help section, the link is right there.

It blocks him from bidding but he'll still see all items.

Go to your ebay preferences and there will be a lot of options. Go to the one for bidders/buyers and you should see what you're looking for. You can also set your preferences in other ways like no negative users, no out of country users, no multiple bid users, etc. I wish there was a way to block zero fb users like ioffer does, but no.
