Where to go from here?
 

Hello I'm new to aspkin. My ebay account got suspended recently. I tried creating another account to sell on (my mistake) and it quickly got linked and restricted. Should I wait for the suspension to run out? Should I delete the restricted account so eBay doesn't see that I tried to make another account and appeal the decision on my suspended account? I need some guidance here.

You should purchase the eBay Stealth Book. Start making stealth accounts and never worry again

I plan on getting it, but I want to know if there is still a chance for getting this account back? And do suspensions have time limits? I've been reading around the web that they can last 7, 14, or 30 days. If so, I'm willing to wait it out.

What kind of Suspension did you get? Also "deleting" the account isn't a thing.

MC059. And I'm talking about deleting the second account I opened that is currently restricted.

Once suspended then you linked another one on top of that, most likely you won't get your account back.

The ebay stealth is made to help people in your situation, then once you understand the guide, come back here for extra and more specialized support as I know you'll have more advanced questions for us

Just googled MC059 and found nothing. Since your new account got linked immediately I assume your method of creating a new account is flawed. Time to get the stealth book and move on. Alternatively if you don't want to invest in the book you could read in this forum, most points have been discussed. However the stealth book has all the basics and is uptodate so that you could start creating accounts and start selling again right away.

Reason I thought there was a time limit to my suspension is that in the email ebay sent me, they said, "Please note that you're not allowed to use eBay in any way during your suspension.

Thanks for the replies guys. Yeah just checked and my second account got suspended. Going to try to appeal the decision on my first account and if nothing, then I will move forward to stealth accounts.

Whatever the reason, it's always good to have some backup accounts to stay in the game just in case. :welcome;

dude, you can't really literally read their ENglish word by word, it's going to drive you nuts and their English is terrible at best.

Make it simple.

Suspended = ebay no give acc back 99% of the time.
eBay CS makes a statement = lies
Paypal CS makes a statement = lies
eBay & pP want to help you = lies
eBay & PP cares about you = lies

UPDATE:

So I contacted ebay through facebook and they told me it was a temporary suspension while they verify some info with me. They had sent me an MC011 email so I can upload documents to review which I submitted and am now waiting for their response. Yes I realize my account might not ever get reinstated and I probably have to wait a while for a reply back so I got stealth book and will set up some stealth accounts.

I plan on using my parents info for some of the accounts. Only problem is we live at the same address. I know I can get virtual addresses, but if paypal or ebay ever ask me to send some proof of address docs, then I might be screwed. Any advice for this?
