eBay and PayPal name
 

1. So I just purchased an aged account from a good friend of mine who had over 700 seller feedback on this account. It has never been suspended or restricted(He just wanted to create an eBay business account). Before he sent me the info to get on he changed the info to my first and last name. Everything else is going to be stealth, but I'm worried about this. Should I just change the name as this name is what was on my restricted account(I feel like it would have no effect anymore as it already linked) or should I put everything else under my first and last name like this eBay account, paypal, gmail, etc. ?

2. Would I be fine just buying a brand new PayPal stealth account and linking it to this account?

3. Can I make my own PayPal stealth account and start it off as a business account and link it to this eBay account?

I appreciate all your guys' wisdom. This forum has been a serious lifesaver!

Changing info on both accounts at the same time raises flags.

About 2., people have had some success with that method working but it isn't good stealth in general. Never know when it can go down due to linking...

I believe creating paypal account as business right away is not good, at least it never worked out for me. From my experience after eBay account is created you can change names however you like, I never encountered a problem with that. Also with a new paypal account you would have to age it, otherwise it's just gonna get restricted. But in general, yes you can create new paypal account and link it to this eBay account.
What you can do is create paypal account, age it and start slow, then upgrade to business paypal with your EIN, no reason to worry about the name on your eBay account.

From my experience if ebay info dont fit paypal info (exception is phone number) that account will die in 3-4 month.

I bought the account before lol I found out about eBay stealth because I didn't want this account getting suspended.

So I guess my question relies on the fact that my eBay account is under my first and last name, which are pretty common. I was wondering that if that is the only thing that can link me to that old account will that affect anything? I would assume that they can't link just based off of first and last name. Being the case I would put my first and last name on all of my other accounts, paypal, gmail, etc. Just to keep them all the same.
