Easiest way to open new checking account
 

When asked why you want to open a new checking accounts, what can you say to make the process easier, and how many maximum accounts should you open under one bank

- Walk into the branch
- Tell the teller you would like to open a new checking account to set aside some money

Simple as that. Banks want you to open more accounts. I limit it to 5-6 per bank.

After you open the first account OP, depending on bank, you should be able to open few more online - just be aware of fees and such

I never had to walk into the banks branch, always opened accounts online. Some banks even 'advise' you to open 2 checking and 1 saving, so already 3, wouldn't be a problem to open 1-2 more. Never did they ask me why I wanted to open an account, thats new to me.

Yeah, most will let you do it online. I'm at the bank every day anyway so I open them in person. I've always thought it looks better from the bank's point of view, especially considering what I use the bank accounts for. I like to get to know the people working at the bank so they don't think I'm some super shady fraudster.

If you haven't already try "PNC Virtual Wallet". You can apply online, and receive 2 checking/1 saving.

Also in reference to your sig... Even if a person could, although it would be impossible to, but even IF a person could Gain the whole world it would NOT be worth losing your soul in the end.. hard but simple!

I found Ally bank to be very easy. Online application and after one opened you can add many with couple clicks.

I never tried Ally bank myself.
Are they credit unions or bigger banks like Chase?

They're known for being one of the first "online-only" banks. They're a decently sized bank, but not Wells Fargo/BoA/Chase big.

I prefer to use business accounts because they are designed for higher volume and can accept mismatched names with ease. Personal accounts, especially with these "online banks" get more scrutiny and can get flagged for fraud easier. Sure, the fees can be higher than with a personal account, but if you are serious about your business, it's the way to go.
