Canadian with US eBay Account. Requesting higher selling limits
 

Hello Everyone,

I live in Canada, but I created a US ebay account using a mail forwarding service address.

My issue is that is that I have reached the new account selling limit, and I phoned in to increase the limit.

They asked me to do a verification from public records (based on name and address). The problem is that I have no US history and don't live in the US address. I came up with an excuse to call back as I did not want to risk my account.

What would be the right thing to do in my case? Would it be OK to let them know that I reside in Canada and give them my real residential address?

I have never been suspended from ebay before.

Why phone in to increase the limit then? Let the increase happen naturally...

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Not sure how I can increase naturally as I only have 5 listings and zero feedback. I thought I would pull one of my listings to replace with a better one, but I still get this message
