One ebay acct two PayPal, ok?
 

Hello folks, I was wondering if it's ok if I have one PP with my wife's personal info and another PP with my business info sharing the same ebay handle?

I haven't received any notices yet, we have live listings with money from some sales going into one PP and the other going into another PP.

Is this legit? Will they care?

I plan on setting my wife with her own ebay next year to avoid all these hassles. The reason I ask is between both PP we hit 30K and over 200 transactions.

This whole thing is a nightmare, I curse the day I started selling on eBay! :typing:

They will allow you to do it, and it's not counted as any type of policy violation.

BUT by doing so you've forever linked your two Paypal accounts together, so if one of them ever gets into trouble and is limited, both accounts will be limited.

Im not so sure youre correct on that.
It can be viewed as trying to circumvent their policy which states that once you reach $20k annually you need to provide them with an EIN. If that's how they look at it both accounts will get limited.

Wait on more members to chime in OP, but for me personally about 5 years ago it did not cause issues. Before I knew about stealth I did exactly what you described with my eBay account. Some payments went to my wife's PP and some went to mine. The eBay account did eventually get suspended but it was from too many listing takedowns and not the weird PP configuration.

I know what you're saying in regards to tax evasion and I know you have a valid point slokor, but I really can't remember it causing any issues for me. I'm not saying anyone is right or wrong though.

Well one of them has my EIN and business info (I hit 16k)

The other just has my wife's name and address, and debit.

no SSN or anything.

As I said I am taking her stuff off tonight as the season is over anyways. I don't want this dragging me down next year.

I been doin 2 ebays to one of my paypals for over 3 years now, No promblems yet sir.

Bw me and my spouse, we have 4 legit paypal accounts(2 business and 2 personal), and we juggle them around between ebay accounts , and between listings any way we want. Been doing this for 8 years with no problems. In my opinion, It is NOT a violation. It just links all your accounts (ebay, paypal) together permanently.
