item appear after 24 hours from listing on new account
 

recently 3 new accounts, started to sell on the very first day
the item show on ebay after 24 hours it used to be 12 hours
is that new or it is just me?

As JamesNorth said above, I can also confirm that on new accounts your items won't always show in search right away, this is completely normal.

Yea it tells you when u list, that the listing may take up to 24 hours before it shows in search results. Regardless the age of the account.

With that said, I don't think it's ever taken more than 8-12 hours for my listings to show. But it does seem to have changed a bit recently. I use to be able to get listings to show up immediately in search results on a few of my accounts, but even those seem to take an hour or two now before showing up. I'm sure the item/category is a factor as well.

I can confirm 100% this is a NEW CHANGE. Now most of my listings appear after 24 hours on all brand new accounts. This was never been the case before.

On brand new accounts, it almost seems that they are manually checking every first item. This is probably not the case due to how long this would take, but it sure feels like it....

I think it's some kind of "review" period. They probably need that time for their bots to "examine" the new listings, if that are reviewed outright by a human. What I notice is that the amount of time it takes to appear in search has a lot to do with what categories you list in.

You are correct. Many of the changes are due to amount of sellers who are drop shipping (including myself). For example a made brand new account, increase limit to 100k the day after. I listed around 1000 items and after manual review they reduced my limit back to like 25k. No problem ... next day I upped my limit back to 100k F U ebay! You are a bunch of idiots!
