Listings taking very long before they go online
 

Hi there,
I'm talking on behalf of somebody else's stealth account.
I noticed that ebay doesn't list his items in real time. It takes hours.
It's a fairly new stealth account. Recently this person (against my advice) out of frustration (because the hotspot of his smartphone never worked) has started using again the same internet provider of his house (and so unfortunately same IP) which has been used in the past for the old account (banned for selling).

Does this mean that ebay after matching the IPs, is now analysing all of his new listings before they allow them to go online?

New listings on new accounts can always take upto 24 hours to go live

If they are using the same IP as an old accounts IP then there will be a link, granted only a small one.

Hi there, thanks for your answer.
When you say "only a small one", is it obviously in a joking way? Because I suppose a matching IP is he main hint for them....but I guess it's not enough.
