I am an experienced seller of many many years on ebay.
I've learned everything in the awesome
stealth guide.
But being dumb I STILL fall foul of going tooo quick.
I think we need to redefine the limits.
There are more than one limit and different levels.
For example, you could sell 1000 $0.99 items and then go to sell something for $70 - and be wiped out by ebay. (I just made that up - not sure if true.)
I was stooopid. I had one account - was someone elses. They had like 200 feedback (as a buyer only) - registered 8 years ago. I sold a 2-3 items less than $10 (over the course of 2 months). Then sold 2 weeks after the last sale 7 items for $80, all items sent tracked.
Blocked. First day.
Banned for life the next.
They just didn't want to know when spoken on the phone!
(Yes, I know I was a big dumbo trying to sell so quick! I knew it was wrong. I thought I was Superman. LOL)
General advice: go slow and steady.
What would be helpful is to know... sell 25 items @$1-$5... in the first month...
Then sell 10 items at $20-$50... in the 2nd month
Then sell 10 items at $80... in the 3rd month
In the 4th month, you are a free bird, free of all shackles and can sell without any limits or fear of big brother watching!
So I made those numbers up... but those numbers definitely do exist.
Would be awesome if someone experimented and fed back to the rest of us.
