ebay hides some listings from other buyers?
 

Ok, got an item, highly sought after. Got 8 watchers so far, but when I try to search my own item, can't find it whatsoever, typed in the item number in search bar, nothing. Tried to organize from lowest to highest to find the exact price of where it's at, still nothing. What's the point of doing this ebay?

I had a few listings like that- showed there were some views, but when it didn't display when searching it up. I also tried searching by the item #

After several hours it would finally appear.

This was on a newish account, so wasn't entirely unexpected.

eBay is huge and it takes time for your listings to be propagated through all of their servers once you make it live. Certain accounts will be able to see your listing before others, just like certain accounts have new features rolled out to them before others. Everything is staggered on big websites like eBay.

ok, nevermind, my account just got roasted lol. the second item i re-listed was risky, that equals a quick ban. Won't do that again.

That really sucks. Did you get the infamous MC011?

Sorry this happened to you. When it's happened to me, I learned from it and am a lot more careful these days. eBay seems to have gotten more strict in recent years.

Sounds like its a new account, so it can take around (a full) 24 hours for items to show up.
