Have you ever got linked due to similar IP?
 

I have two accounts, with which I made a mistake. I logged into the first one when I was connected to the VPN dedicated to the 2nd one.

So I think eBay logged it that the same IP address was used by those two accounts.

The accounts share no similarity, but selling in the same category.


I am not worried about suspension at all, because none of the two had been banned. I am worried about the accounts being linked and thus selling limits will be shared :boink:


What are your thoughts on this?

Accounts generally don't get banned or linked by IP alone- it's that along with some other factor(s) that might sink you.

What if the IP fact is coupled with selling in the same category?

Its unlikely to cause you any issues :)

Just make sure there are no other links.

You are unlikely to get banned sharing the same IP address alone.

Even so, it's best to maintain a fair amount of separation- this is one of the cornerstones of stealth.

Don't get lax with your setup. It's easy to make mistakes when operating multiple accounts. I have made a ton and try not to repeat them.
