IP Burger query
 

Hi all,

Can I add more geographical IP addresses to the list on IP burger? I'd like an additional UK location but only London is available on the list.

So long as the IP is UK that is all that matters :)

Thanks for that, but can it not be tweaked so it shows as, say, Manchester, Oxford, Newcastle etc?

Does it really matter to add those to IP burger? I'm trying to understand significance of this detail

For example, say I wanted ebay to see my location as London, but wanted Gumtree to see my location as Birmingham - just for argument's sake.

Or say I have 2 ebay accounts and I want them to both show a UK IP - wouldn't it flag up that both accounts have the same IP address?

Again, just asking for curiosity sake.

If you have 2 VPN services then you would have 2 different IP addresses

The VPN company can only rent servers where they are available to cheaply rent - and that's generally from data centers in large cities.

The VPN company is renting the IP from a data center, applying the IP to a VPN server, and renting access to the VPN server to you. It would be difficult and probably unprofitable for a smaller VPN company to rent servers in multiple cities of a small country like UK.
