Beware! Inkfrog inserting advertising into listings!

I was revising a listing today and decided to take a look at the HTML code for the description, I found that inkfrog had inserted code into the listing description which looks to have a link pertaining to the Inkfrog account and some sort of Inkfrog promo. While I was unable to see this on the listing itself on ebay this is still very concerning.

I reached out to inkfrog support and apparently it is a setting that must be turned off. I have quoted the rep below

"InkFrog marketing is added automatically when the account is created but can be disabled from within the account settings by accessing the inkFrog account and going to Settings > Marketing > turn off > Save Settings.
This will remove the inkFrog advertising automatically from the listings where it has not been embedded by reverse sync from eBay."

Apparently I will now have to go through all of my listings 1 by 1 and edit the HTML code if these links are present there or not. Be careful with Inkfrog guys..

This has me thinking of switching to Auctiva because this is just not acceptable.

You could use the bulk edit tool to remove that specific line of code from any of your listings that has it.

select all listings -> edit -> click the dropdown that changes which field you're editing on all listings -> listing description -> remove from all -> (line of code)

I thought this was something they used to do and then stopped when eBay made a big deal about javascript in the listings? Inkfrog is annoying as hell.

I never liked inkfrog.

Why not try auctiva? I don't think they'll pull that kind of nonsense
