Make no mistake though, big ecomm sites like Amazon, eBay, PayPal, and banks risk scoring algos do take into account that residential IP ranges are by nature shared. It's not uncommon for a commercial ISP such as Comcast, Cox, Verzion, AT&T, Charter, etc to NAT several of their customers through a single common gateway IP. |
