Can I Cancel a Transaction WITHOUT Logging Into eBay
 

This is just about the only thing I haven't yet found a way to do without logging into eBay. I constantly have buyers say oops my son bought this without me knowing can you please cancel? I then link them to the guide on how to cancel an order and they can never figure it out or "it won't work for me". So then I need to go on a second computer, launch vmware, find the transaction and send a request to cancel. Very annoying.

What is the best solution you have found?

If you wanted something totally automated you could just have unpaid item cases automatically opened instead

Otherwise I myself am not sure how you can do it without logging in

I do have automatic unpaid item cases but I'm talking about when the buyer pays and then asks to cancel before it is shipped.

I don't know of any way it can be done without logging into eBay to send the cancellation request.

The cancel request needs to come in through eBay, whether through the website, API, or mobile app.

They have to log in to cancel their order - if they can contact you from their account, it generally means they have logged in (exception: e-mail from their inbox I guess) but still they should be able to request the cancel...they're being lazy is all

If they open a request to cancel the order officially through eBay then you can approve the request through a software like replymanager. But if they are just shooting you a message then you would have to manually log in to ebay.
