90 Day sellers limit

I have been selling in the software category that limits you to 7(ish) items a month for the first 90 days.

I frequently see new users bypassing this limit selling loads of items at once, in the same category (That has the limit in place).

Any know how on how to get around this limit?

I contacted eBay one about this and they gave me a one time allowance to sell more, but I've never been able to get it on any other account.

The only way to get around it that I know of is either list in a different category (a bad idea) or linking the new eBay to an old eBay with a proven track record.

Yes you can list in different category but traffic to your listing will be less

Or buy an account from you with no limits in that category?
And/or mature more new accounts ready to sell in 90 days

If you are trying to sell software using one account with limits those 90 days are going to drag

obvoiusly no-one requests them? which means the 90 day limits are easy to bypass, so how are these new sellers bypassing those limits? by using an old/active account with no limits to increase the limits for the new account?
That aint stealth so then the only way would be to wait that 90 day out?

or buy a account from market place thats older than 90 days?

Im not even sure that waiting 90 days from the first sale would remove all category limits. eBay don't publish or show you the exact hidden limits for certain categories so its impossible to be sure what the exact criteria to have the increased or removed is.

I had a few accounts 15+ years back selling freeware in those categories when there was no limits at all. easy money for nothing but gradually (as with anything that sounds too good to be true) the competition was stiff and if you had good sales on your listing it would be copied and your price undercut, changing listing to try and get better search result caused copyright infringment and listings removed & suspension,

Still there is money for nothing in that category if you can get your listing seen, one single account with a 7 monthly listing per month for 90 days is going to be slow and hard?
without an account with no limits to increase other accounts would leave the thread maker with the only option "patience" or find someone who has an old account with no limits in that category?
