eBay USA suspended. they need FAX docs?
 

Hello,

This is the first time i do stealth USA ebay account. after i list the first products account get suspended and i called them which seems it's pretty normal procedure to do the verification according to the support.

They require ID and Utility bill, what WIRED MOST is they request you FAX the documents. i thought we can email back the PS version. what you guys do with ebay FAX? is there any online FAX services which works good with ebay?

I suggest you call again and again until you get a good representative, some reps are assholes and require docs but some just ask questions and reinstate.

If this was a restriction then it would have been a simple matter.
If its a hardcore suspension though its a different matter - and from what youre saying it sounds like that's what it is.
Did you follow all the proper stealth methodology when opening the account? I can only assume you did not since youre a new forum member, you say youre new to this and you did not get the stealth guide.
Its a new account so not much lost there. Get the stealth guide and start over - and do things properly this time.

You can fax from e-mails these days - there are multiple e-mail app/plug-ins just fyi

since they have requested docs i bet every CS will check the thread and respond the same but i definitely will give it another try and keep it posted here.

No, this is not normal.

1. Did you follow the ebay stealth guide?
2. What brand and price was the item?

Let's start here so we can further get more details on what actually went wrong.

1. NO i didn't check the ebay Stealth guide, but i made some accounts already especially UK one with very high limits and i dont' see any sellers here could reach this high limits. but for USA account this is my first attempt.


2. I listed a toy without any brand with price of $9.99.


also when i speak to the customer services. also they went another verification system i forget how it called, ask four names for example " david, rodger, alex, tom", which one do i know him the most? i randomly pickup 2 names maybe trigger their verification system?
