How to make Chinese accounts for Chinese sellers

Has anyone done this?
What's involved?
As I understand it, you have to register to a company or something?

I have someone asking about.
Registering accounts seem to be the easy part - the problem I have is the bank account.

Yes, making a bank account I can do.
But then I don't want to be liable for the income - happy to help someone else setup as a different entity though.

Would be interested to hear what others say.

You have to be careful with this, ebay china is much more strict. Additionally, I imagine its harder to get a quality VOIP phone number and nearly impossible to get a VCC there.

China is also implementing new laws that reports the bank accounts of foreigners over a certain amount of money, to ensure they are fully paying taxes

Re: How to make Chinese accounts for Chinese sellers

Our supplier says it much easier to make accounts in HK than mainland China because of how restricted China is. All the suppliers I've ever worked with were running HK PP's while being based in Shenzhen. I would imagine there's a reason for that.

Unfortunately that's about all I know.

Chinese sellers have to pay China taxes?

I thought Chinese sellers with foreign income bypass all taxes?

Yes, they pay taxes. Average total tax on a China corp is 68% and China exports nearly everything they produce.

I'm pretty sure one of the reasons HK accounts are preferable to Chinese sellers is because there's a lower tax rate. But either way they're paying taxes.

then my next question is why do many u.s sellers claim Chinese sellers have unfair tax advantage?

Their advantage comes from subsidized postage or from being much closer to the source in most cases.

I’m not sure I have seen people say they have an y fair tax advantage

They have very cheap postage and they can get items for very cheap. That is where the advantage comes from
