Hi,

My account is restricted few days already (MC011).
I contacted eBay and was asked to provide proof of identity and the proof of merchandise of my items.
So I sent my driving license & bank statement, I'm pretty sure they will ask me to provide proof of merchandise.

My question is, does eBay check the validation of the documents?
Because I forged a receipt from a local store, if they would contact them it could be considered an illegal thing.

I highly doubt ebay will contact a store in Israel to validate the info on that receipt.
They Will however check the quality of that receipt.
Also note - even if you provide everything theyre asking for theres a chance youll come across an overzealous employee who wont restore the account no matter what. Some people are just like that.
