Exif Data- can it get your account suspended?

So I got my account banned before, and before running a new one I am trying to find out whether it was because I didn't run photos through an exif cleane, or some other reason that I haven't figured out yet..
And therefore want to know if you can get suspended just because you didn't clean your photos.

If you list your setup step by step, it will be easier to see where you may of gone wrong.

Also how quick did you get limited, what was the limitation reason? All of those are great indicators into the reason why you may have gotten limited.

eBay is basically a search engine just like Google. They do use Exif data to spot similar pictures.

Go for it and clean your images before uploading.

Never share or re-use your images across accounts and remove the EXIF data with a tool such as Batchpurifier.

Alright, I started off doing nothing for couple of weeks, always logged in with a VPN on had everything cleaned with CC Cleaner. Just added some stuff to wishlist and made bids on things I never would win.

After a couple of weeks I listed an old unbranded belt I'd found for a pound and taken a photo with my iphone. I have no idea if an Iphone has that gps thing which allows you to track it.
The next day after that listing- I was suspended for unusual activity.

IPBurger for that account, trying a new one that was reccomended to me for my new account

my limitation reason was that i was suspicious.

I'm using firefox portable and logging in on a different user account on the computer. I use a specific VPN depending on which user acc i use.

Suspension based upon unusual activity could have many reasons behind it. eBay might just want to make sure you give them a call back so that they can verify your info.

Have you made sure that flash cookies are disabled on the portable browser?

Could be a number of reasons for limitation but removing EXIF data is always a smart practice when listing items. Easy thing to do with software or on your own.

I have them disabled for my whole pc.
