Updating quantity automatically?
 

A seller in the category I am selling in revises his listing on an hourly-basis. He only changes the quantity and his listing is doing very very well to say the least.

The listing is being revised every single hour even during night time.


Is there a software or something that will do this on the seller's behalf? Or is that being done manually you think?

Scarcity Manager is a plugin designed to do exactly that, but I'm not sure if it still works with eBay.

Here's the link. I think it's a ridiculous feature to pay $10/mo for, and apparently scarcity manager are calling themselves a dropship plugin now so I don't know how they'd mesh with your eBay account given the recent restrictions on dropship plugins.

Used to use Quantity Manager. You pay something like 2 cents per update, so depending on your inventory size it can add up, or not. Only downside is you cant remove it once installed, you'll get invoices every month, but you wont owe anything if not in use. Just slightly annoying it cant be removed, and concerning they could charge you trumped up fees. Hasn't happened, though.
