Is stealth over with Adyen?

They are already doing it on Amazon by sending them ⊗⊗⊗⊗ documents and Id's. The banks don't really care unless you are ripping them or people off. All they do is shut you down and you move on to a new account.

Sure. But you're missing two crucial benefits to stealth accounts.

1. Sense of relief that you haven't got all your eggs in one basket.

2. You overcome throttling of your ebay sales, as you can spread sales over multiple accounts.

There's more benefits to stealth than meet the eye.

You guys need to quit panicking. It's going to make stealth harder, but just like Amazon, it can be done. You will probably need a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ID. It's a good idea to set up some ⊗⊗⊗⊗ public records for your stealth identities. Just look up how to create synthetic identities in google. You can still use an EIN and so identity theft won't be an issue because its still going back to you. Those of you who have been avoiding paying taxes by not going over the 20k threshold and probably going to have to start paying taxes because the government can see what is deposited in your bank account. There is a very nice person on here selling amazon accounts too so it will still be possible to sell accounts, they are just going to be more expensive.

Only bank transactions over 10k are reported to gov. They can't just see your bank account. Now if you get audited and they want to see your bank records, then you screwed.

The amount your thinking of is 2,000 dollars, not 10,000. I learned about that in a money laundering class while working for Wells Fargo. According to my accountant if they are suspicious that you aren't reporting all of your income they absolutely can and will.

I haven't had to sign up for eBay in a while but I would think they would take an EIn since that's kind of what they are for.

They are not asking for e ein for a standard account. business maybe. But not personal. But, nonetheless. You're going to need a ein once adyen hits, because of the reporting thresholds of 20k/200, so unless you have an ein or ssn for each account, it's done.

You will still need an EIN to sign up for Adyen, but if you stay under the 20k threshold they won't report to the IRS. However, the money is deposited to a bank account and if the IRS decides to investigate you they will see that.

They will take either one and ask for the last 4 of the social just like paypal does.

It's game over for legal stealth or grey area stealth. Obviously, with other peoples info, you can make "Stealth" accounts. Any Adyen process is going to require the name on the bank account and last 4 of SS number. They say right in the process "For your protection, we may verify your identity with a secure third–party service. This information will never be displayed publicly on Etsy. Learn more"

Just go and set up an Esty account. See for yourself. The eBay process will be the exact same almost certainly...I'm not sure how people don't understand this.

I think there will be a huge crackdown on non-USA sellers. We are already seeing some of that right now will PayPays changes. So don't think you can just make a foreign account to bypass SSN info, etc.
