Last 2 New eBay accounts Suspended
 

Opened 2 new ebay accounts this month and got great limits right off the bat (1000 items/25k) Listed books with real photos and good descriptions. Both got this message:

After reviewing your eBay account, we’ve noted several concerns within your account activity. As a result; we have suspended your account. If you feel this action was taken in error and would like to continue to use your eBay account, we would like to verify your account and eBay account activity directly with you. Registering a new account may hinder any option to appeal your account. We've taken this precaution to protect our members while we make sure that the activity doesn't cause harm -- however unintentionally -- to the eBay community and appreciate your understanding.

Should I call in? Has anyone else noticed it's harder to start a new account? In the past, I did have accounts that would get suspended right off the bat but found that most made it through.

how long did you wait before listing?

About 3 weeks maybe a month

Its a simple fix. I've had that happen a few times. All you have to do is call in and they'll ask name, address, phone #, and what you plan on selling.

Its pretty normal for new accounts. Just tell them that you are selling items from around the house. This kinda avoids any asking for receipts/invoices. They might ask where you are storing your items, how you pack your items. some very basic stuff.

After I call in and get these accounts unsuspended- do I need to be careful with listing too much? Back on my last round of accounts (in 2015-2016) I would be careful for a month or two- only listing one item at a time. Then I would ramp it up to about 50 listings and steadily add new listings. Just wondering how things have changed since then.

If you have sales and some feedback, listing many items isnt a problem.
