Ayden update now asking for a photo ID.
 

They couldn't verify the info about me being the primary business owner because it's stealth info and are now asking for a photo ID. I plan to upload photos of a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ one. what are thoughts on this?

This Ayden process is starting to sound like a nightmare for stealth. Good luck with a doctored ID, I am sure they are checking everything out. Also pretty sure this kind of stuff can get you in serious trouble.

I was running a nice legit business for 4 or 5 years and easily supporting a family of 5. I was in my busiest time of year and didn't see the email telling us that anytime anyone opened a case against us it would now count. before it only counted if the case was closed with no resolution. I was a little bit behind and got emails from customers asking why their order was late, but because of the way eBay had it set up a case was being opened every time someone sent me an email about their order and they closed my account. They were eventually sued over that set up in a class action lawsuit and returned things back to normal but it was too late for me.

He means, why not start fresh with Ayden and heck, even ebay with your real name, information etc.....
You have not been banned by Ayden. They have no reason not to do business with you.

I was really hoping to find out if we can make stealth work on Ayden. I think our biggest issue is going to be since they check Id's is if they are going to try and verify them with the public record. With Amazon stealth, they ask for a photo ID and a utility bill. On Etsy they are using Mexican address and Ip addresses to get around the need for a social security number so I know there is a way.

Been telling everyone when ebay does away with paypal. it's going to be a nightmare, and then if you don't have a legit EIN on each account, your account is going to be dead at 19.9k

Speaking from experience, i'd be done on some accounts after 3 months.

It would be dead at $0 if you didn't have a tax ID to provide during the application.

Enjoy dropping 40 llc's on your accountants desk. That's $125 a quarter per LLC for your accountant to take care of it and make estimated tax payments. Imagine that 5k a quarter in accounting fee's.

I got the impression you were talking about 40 LLC's and filing quarterly for all of them.

I've never did the application, so i am not sure what they ask for. Are they asking for business EIN and your SSN?

That is a really cheap accountant Phaz. I can only wonder if he also has cheap advice and costing you a heck of a lot more money in the long run. Cheap service is the most expensive service oftentimes. I hope that is not the case for you.

I haven't done it either, but they don't let you start accepting payments until you give a tax ID. Still not sure if they're trying to get both from people. Lucynda may know since they're currently going through it.

Family run firm that's been around for decades and has some of the best reviews that can be found in the area. Good enough for what I need them for currently. They always spend hours making sure I've deducted everything possible so I'm reasonably confident they aren't costing me a ton of extra money. Hah. :/

Since they are now saying they can't verify my id I'm assuming they are checking public records. Verifying accounts sounds like a nightmare over on Amazon.

So to be clear, you gave them an EIN, then a stealth name which they attempted to verify, and now they're asking for ID?

And you gave the stealth name instead of your real name because you've been in trouble with eBay before?

Is this application off site on their end? Could you possible use the same adyen on multiple ebay accounts?

Yes, that' what I meant. I'm flustered today. I don't like waking up to this ****. I was feeling all secure about my future in stealth and then this crap. My husband and I both have health problems making work outside the home very hard on us and he needs another surgery before the end of the year so its an issue.

I read on their site, that once you upload a photo id, it takes 30 seconds or less for it to be auto verified. Getting creative, with a EIN isn't the end of the world. if that works.

I've read horror stories about this beta, people's sales dropped by 50-75% when paypal isn't an option.

To be clear. I used an LLC with the correct EIN for the LLC. They asked for a name and last 4 of a social/EIN. I gave them the stealth name and the last 4 of my EIN which is registered to my name and LLC. Now they are asking for an ID and will send start sending deposits again when it's "verified". I called Ayden before I started this and they told me I wouldn't ever have to submit a photo to verify with them on eBay so the guy lied. (feels like Amazon customer service).

On the Ayden website, they let you send in copies of a photo id with the numbers blocked out which is what I plan to do for this.

My stealth name is a pretty common name. There are 27 of them in the state my stealth account is set up in. Maybe I could put the legit address of someone with the same name on the account and that would work if they are looking for public records?

The first 48 hours were a little on the slow side but popped right back up on the 3rd day no problems.

I used an EIN but of course, it's attached to my real information. They are asking for the account beneficiary. I have no problem buying a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ID but I read that if they are verifying it with public records it may not work.

It sounds like ebay and them are totally separate to me, meaning the information you give adyen does not need to match the ebay data. If i get this option on an account i'll give it a try. Did they send you a invite via email? So far nothing to any of my 15-20ish accounts i have. and blocking out data on your ID. Is a good sign, means creative could work. Since they maybe just want to see that it matches what you presented.

I got an invite last year which I ignored until Paypal limited my account but I don't think you actually need an invite to do it now. If you go to the page I have added below it will take you to a sign-up area so I don't think invites are needed anymore. Do you have an account with a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ photo ID you could try this with?

I am jealous of your 15-20 accounts but seeing how this will eventually be the only option we need to get this worked out. I don't like uncertain futures.

I was able to make my own legit account after 15 years and even got it all setup as well, And i have sold maybe 60 things. I have 1 feedback... 1 neutral and 1 negative... Creating new accounts are not easy anymore, when dealing with idiots.

1 feedback neutral was a product review, the other negative was saying the item was a fooofoo, but i am an authorized dealer! Of course they left the feedback in spanish, i think 50% of my customers do not speak english.

Well, I guess you do still need an invite. When I go to look at it on one of my other stealth accounts it doesn't give me an option to sign up. I sent an email from the Adyen website asking them about sending in the ID and what exactly they are trying to verify since my account was set up as an LLC on an EIN. I also called my local government and asked if someone could ask for and receive the name of the beneficiary on my LLC and they said that no, that wasn't possible.
