Paypal asking for Photo ID
 

I have a stealth account running for a month now, didn't list any items for sale until recently. Sold my first item, a trading card and now when I log into Paypal they want me to upload a photo ID by a certain date or it will further be restricted. Did anyone else run into this problem and I'm aware I don't think there's a way to get past this,

do you think they have a picture of the owner of that stealth account?
or is the account fictitious and the person does not exist?

Person does not exist, so i'm thinking of PS, but it's 2019 I doubt it'll work, account is toast and i'm probably done with eBay after this.

I can't even claim the money I received, PP asking for SSN to confirm info, literally did every step right and run into walls every single time

so the Paypal stealth guide does not work.
I would not be surprised if someone from Paypal buy a copy and study it.
ask your friend to sell for you and give him a cut.

I'm so confused. So they wanted photo ID and now want SSN as well? Did you submit a photo ID? If your account is restricted by requesting photo ID, you won't get your money for 180 days unless you pass this restriction. SSN has nothing to do with it...

I'm currently in the same boat, will upload my photo ID soon. It will either pass or fail, but nothing is being asked about SSN...

It's not hard to get a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ photo Id. They don't have access to DMV or Government records. Were these expensive items?

It does work. I've noticed lately that every now and then an account pops up that needs an ID. Most people abandon them at that point. If PayPal tries to verify that your a real person using public records they aren't going to find any. There are people on this forum that create a couple of ⊗⊗⊗⊗ accounts a day with no problems so there isn't any point in quitting. If you're having trouble you could consider buying an account from the marketplace. I have 5 of them. I have only had a problem with one and that was selling over 50k on it for two years and it was my fault.

I have successfully had a temporary limitation removed from my account TWICE in 5 days!!! I had a friend make an amazing document and submitted info of the items i was selling on ebay and three days after (Must wait 3 days exactly to the hour) i was able to withdraw 1.1K to my bank.. This limitation is easy to remove..

From my first sale, the money in Paypal it says I have to claim it and when I do it shows my info and asks for SSN or ITIN but now when I press claim it it's not even there anymore, just needa get past the ID part

It was a pokemon card that was $20, whatever word before photo ID is censored please let me know what I need to do thank you

Their algorithms will trigger needing to upload photo ID.
You either need to abandon the account or pay someone who offers a verification service (there are several in the marketplace) but they are not 100% guaranteed to work.

Instead of acting up and reacting, learn how to do things the right way and ask questions.

In Most cases even if you upload your photo ID (authentic or not) they still close your account, happened to me a few times.

they just add it to there DATABASE

you can still try nothing is 100% guarantee

It all depends why the limited was placed on the account. I just uploaded a creative ID and had limitation removed within 10 min.

I simply sold some items too fast, made too much money.

If you are selling goods you should not be, have customer issues, etc, then they most likely won't allow the account to sell again.
