Buying something from yourself

For new stealth accounts i know it is recommended to make couple first sales with low risk and low price products. What about buying with stealth account from another stealth when they are both yours?
I don't see a reason why this won't work but also i never heard someone suggesting to do it in the forum...

because eBay is not that dumb and your "pattern" and link will soon be spotted and accounts closed.

It could work for a few sales but not as a long term solution.

You are just giving eBay and PayPal the easiest way to suspend your accounts.

Their algorithms will take into consideration 0 feedback accounts buying from other 0 feedback accounts. Best to just be patient and make real sales.

Of course that as long term solution is not good, but as i said just for the beggining, to buy 1-2 products from myself, mark it as "Sent", and 1-2 weeks make it like its "arrived" and give myself a positive feedback.
Just 1 time, i don't think they will link it because you do have 0 feedback new buyers that buying products on eBay...

Patterns is what eBay is good at catching. They will link you in this manner. Don't do it.

Buying from yourself is not a sustainable method.

What works better is to purchase items that have instant resale; gift cards, precious metals/gold silver coins/bars, or high demand items such as games/footwear.

when you sell normally and ship fast, you'll get natural feedbacks. This is the best way.

In the beginning if you are masochistic, go ahead and do what you wanna do.

We'll be ready to reply to your future thread: "I got suspended for feedback manipulation, HELP!"

I did that myself, it works but with caution. For example, you should not buy ONLY from your listing, you need to diversify. But the idea in theoretically works.

Re: Buying something from yourself

Buy from a real account that has feedbacks and history. Make sure to provide a tracking number - you can find many people on online forums or do a simple google search for real tracking numbers. eBay can't logically suspend you, you sold a physical item with a working and valid tracking number to a buyer who has feedbacks and everything. The only thing maybe triggering their system would be that the seller (you) have 0 feedbacks, the best way is to search on eBay "feedback photo" or something like that and buy it. I did it to my account. It goes like that -

1. Search "feedback" on eBay.

2. Find something like that:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/WE-ACCEPT-0...frcectupt=true

3. Buy it, usually you don't even need to pay - just buying it and the seller will leave a 5-star feedback and you should leave in return also 5 star feedback from him.

4. Do it for 2-5 times and put your item for sale.

I don't guarantee it would work, but that's the best chance.

Re: Buying something from yourself

yo its really not worth it. something may eventually come up where you need to bid on your own item . linking ebays for a bit of feedback is silly. unfortunetly you have to take your time. just take ten pounds go to pound shop or charity shop. buy somethings. list them and sell at a loss. with free postage. wait. ask politely for feedback wait till money has cleared and buy as many 1p auctions as you can. untill you have spent all your money in paypal. sell a load of 1p auctions. as soon as a bid is recieved . mark as paid and leave feedback and ask politly for feedback in return. i dont ever list anything high risk or high value till i have top rated seller seal and well over 200 feedback. 100 of them i bought for 1p auctions

yeah just sell things laying around the house for dirt cheap then message the buyers kindly and ask for feedback. thats the best way to do it imo.. and most importantly the safest

Re: Buying something from yourself

Best thing to do is build up the feedback naturally from regular buyers, this is very powerful when the account is reviewed. Fast shipping and good communication with a thank you note in the package guarantees good feedback building up quickly. Any problems with the order can be resolved by phoning the customer as well and gives good feedback.

How about buying .99 Chinese items, the sellers generally give immediate feedback

That's because you'll get nailed for feedback manipulation.

They are good at catching this
