There is always going to be a risk of review when asking for an increase
Most the time it’s fine though, but it’s down to if you want to be totally safe or have the small risk of document request as it if you go ahead with it or not
They will surely ask for some proofs to where you're getting your digital items. Limits are usually increased automatically.
As long as there's no complaints from buyers, you ship fast, etc.

They may ask you about the items you're selling.
If I was in your position, i'd get a few other accounts going at the same time, rather than risk increasing the limits on this and losing it altogether.
You can ask but you'd better hope they don't look at whether you need one based up on your current products. Likely result - No increase AND no account.
This might sound blunt but sometimes sellers deserve what they ask for. You know you're breaking ebay rules but actively seek out their attention. Why???
