 Skype question
Does anyone here use Skype or any other voip phone service...for real?
Was discussing my DSL plan at work when someone came along and said that they use Skype to make phone calls from home. $25/year.
I use my cell alot and have free incoming, but would like to use something else for the occassional outgoing calls that are going to last a while before 7:00pm(free night minutes start).
Now I am paying $30/month plus DSL bill because I thought I needed a land line to get DSL. Found out today that I don't, so I'd like to do away with it, but the services like Vonage would actually be more than my current land line.
Also, in the event that I need to add numbers at some time in the future for verification services would having a real Skype account present a problem?
