there are some announcements on retail arbitrage,but dropshipping is still around,like consignment.
legit dealers (cyber as well as brick and mortar stores) can ask the distributor or manufacturer to ship direct to the customer,e.g, servers,tractors,engines,implements etc.
Ebay just does not want the sellers who rightclick a stock photo from other websites and list them on Ebay without having merchandise on hand

Look, the account was suspended probably for identity verification purposes.
They should ask you some questions like what you sell, from where and such of those things.

After you answer them random answers e.g. you just sell **** around the house nothing fancy, they probably will reinstate your account.

It would of not of happen if you would age your account and get some history. if they see a new account without a lot of history on the site they suspect you are stealth (how come a brand new user already sells stuff? you don't go into a school and instantly become a teacher, you first have to be a student aka buying things on eBay and look legit). But if you verify your account then you can instantly sell a lot of risky things, manually verified accounts are the best!

Yep, when your account gets suspended for verification purposes and then they re-open the account (remove the suspension) you will have a strong account.

if everything is fresh and all you do is list 2 items and Ebay refused to reinstate you,they could have something which links this new account back to your old account.
Plenty of people open a new account with zero feedback and start selling,many have multiple accounts,one for selling,one for buying,one for chatting and one for browsing.
I have 5 selling accounts on ebay

I cleaned everything and opened a new Account..My new Accounts dont have problems and iam selling everday 1-2 items.

2 accounts only one of them is selling account. So far nothing yet, but it's also new account been opened in a matter of 2-3 days between the closed one.

All account are fully stealth, no way to be linked.

I started selling on a new account last week. I bought it from a reliable seller from the forum that I have used in the past and it was suspended 2 days after listing 2 items and having one sale. This is a new thing it seems. They used to send you a letter saying you have been restricted until you call in and verify your details. Now they are calling it a suspension and hiding that "we need to verify your details over the phone" in the email and its not very obvious. I called in, verified the usual bullcrap, and my account was reinstated within 15 minutes.

I got suspended recently with all new info and a new device (new computer, new IP, new account etc). Account was 7 months old and built up slowly. I got the same email 24 hours after I sold a $300 item. I called and they refused to tell me why I was suspended because "they didn't want me opening a new account and circumventing the suspension).

Only thing I can think of is that I was retail arbitrage drop shipping (account was above standard) and they got me because all the items shipped from different locations. Seems like if that was the reason though, they would have said that rather than refusing to tell me. PayPal account attached was/is fine

From what iv learned lately, ebay have no problem with dropshipping as long as you have an official agreement with a wholesale supplier. In that case you can send them the agreement and everything should be fine.

I don't drop ship. I buy in bulk and divide down into smaller quantities with my own name brand that I then resale. I haven't had the best of luck with drop shipping on eBay and Amazon.

How would that work? I'm shipping directly from the retailer to the customer. I just upload the tracking the retailer gives me

I also use my own pics (purchased items I'm selling to takes pics so they're unique)
