My accounts are linked, HELP!!!

I need your expertise and help for my ebay accounts or if you knew someone can help to salvage the situation, PM me. I have recently opened a new ebay with my new company however they may have linked the new account to my old one.

This is the email they sent to me.

We noticed that you are also associated with the eBay account “xxxxx”. Before we lift the restriction on this account we would like to learn more about your business and the reason for opening this second account.

We please ask that you please provide the following information:

- An explanation of your business model.
- What is the purpose for opening xxxxx(2nd account)? What items will be listed on xxxxx since eBay has a policy of not allowing duplicate listings on related accounts?

We appreciate your cooperation in resolving this matter as quickly as possible and look forward to receiving your response.

I don't want any impact for my old account to be suspended or limited which is my main source of income. I am guessing my new account may have been flagged due to the address or my ID. I have this new company set up for over a year and doing legit wholesale business before I signed up with eBay.

What should I do? eBay is giving me a chance to explain myself but I am not sure what is the right way which don't get me suspended for both of them.

They just want to make sure you are not selling duplicate items across both accounts as that won't give other sellers a fair chance and it's a breach of their policies, can't see why you think they want to ban your main account.

Is it not a separate business selling different products ? if it is you are fine.

For example if you sell phones on one account. But phone related accessories on another, that's different.

I would just tell them you are selling in a different category.
Ie,
One will sell electronics
One will sell clothing
Make sure you state you have a different distributor for your items for the different account
Don't worry bud, just stick to your guns and clearly state those distinguishing factors
