Do Ebay and Paypal share information?

Now that they are both independant is there any evidence that Ebay and Paypal still share information with each other?

Paypal wouldn't be able to function as one of eBay's payment processors without info sharing. If they didn't share info the buyer would be sent to Paypal checkout and there would be no order for them to pay since eBay didn't tell Paypal what was in the buyer's cart.

right,when you log into your paypal account ,you can see the ebay listing for that transaction.
if you print your shipping label using Paypal,the tracking number will show up in your My ebay under that Ebay listing.
