Default Other Ebay Payment Methods ?

I've tried to let people know to contact me or not to bid until they contact me for payment arrangements so they won't use paypal. I've found that alot people will tell me to cancell there bids or they're not interested because I don't accept paypal. I've offer them to use google checkout but they don't wan to. Has anybody had this problem.

Its your approach, i get most of my customers to use google checkout with no problem. i note in my auction to wait for our merchant invoice before proceeding with payment, and if they prefer paypal that they should contact me. i also send messages after auction endings about how to proceed with payment. Paypal is inevitable though, you should have a separate account to send invoices with. Try to make that your dead last option though

ferny,
It's like yaw says, you give them the options: means a bit of extra work but it means less hassles with holds & limitations.Have the option of paypal at a given price but another payment method with some candy

Isn't googlecheckout a no no for ebay?

Meaning why would using the same googleCC for all of your accounts be a problem when using it period isn't allowed?

yes gc is a no no if integrated, but you could offer cc option and then, send gc invoice to them by private email, thing is if it goes wrong or dispute they could email your gc details to ebay, but worse still if that happened on multi stealth accounts it would link you.

I havent done the gc thing, I dont get any buyers on UK ebay wanting cc they all go for paypal and somehow they would be suspicious of gc, most buyers have never heard of gc that Ive come across on my non-ebay sales. I was throwing the question/suggestion out there to see if anyone does use one gc for all stealth accounts,
given that few sales are made on it via ebay, its isnt really worth making a gc for each ebay account IMO
