SEPA bank transfer as ebay payment method
 

Hi everyone, I'm posting this because I couldn't find any informations specifically around the forum.
I started my business in Oct 2018 and since now I have been blocked some weeks ago after a month of selling in DE ebay. Probably I pushed too much in advertising and 500 euros a day was too much for my account to handle. Now after this 'postive' experience with DE markets I'd like to make a stealth account for german ebay, but I found out it's a very hard thing to do without getting a mc121 block. I got one after selling items for a total of 140 euros in two days.
After explaining my situation, I'd like to ask if anyone tried to sell in DE market with fresh accounts accepting only SEPA transfers as payment method instead of paypal. Probably I will get less orders, but on the other hand I won't have to link a new PP account and the payments won't be on hold. What do you think?

It's the "trust" issue ... nobody will sepa/bacs money to you with no buyer protection like paypal offers.

And also eBay is implementing the Adyen credit card processor.

So I'm not sure if what you'll do will be for long term at that

Unlike Italians, German people often use sepa for their payments, so I thought it was a possible way to avoid building a new PayPal from scratch. Also, I could provide a German iban because n26 which is my ebay-business bank linked to PP is German. Do you think I can give a try or they will blacklist my Iban and link it to my pp account?

Really interesting, I would know more about it.
AFAIK the actual payment processor for credit cards is paypal even if you just put your credit card infos in the eBay order. Is this new payment processor a good news for us sellers or will we have to fight with paypal as usual? I hate their policy to hold bank transfers on "pending" for three exact days and then automatically unlock the funds. It's so boring when you transferred already many thousands of euros without any problem.
