Argos click n collect with stealth eBay/PayPal?????
 

Hi I'm not sure how this click n collect works but is it possible to use stealth eBay/PayPal then just go and pick something up from Argos???advice and help always appreciated.

Yes,, all they ask for is a code to pick up your item. No ID is needed.

Most of the times they don't bother asking for anything other than name and code.

To prevent any potential issues with them asking for ID (which sometimes they do ask for), just say you're picking up on behalf of someone else.

I've been asked for the credit card on a fast track order (but they gave in after some arguing) but never ID for an eBay order. There's nothing on their site or eBay about ID being required, so they can't enforce that.

So I just bought something on Argos and everything went through fine. But it states on the message. Your order is ready for collection. Present your collection code and photo id at collection.?????? But further down it says: please present this email in store for collection???? So do I need photo id?

I use a company name to pick up from Argos from stealth and never been asked, just show code and they see company name and all good.

They have click and collect in some other EU countries, France, Germany at least
