Indonesian seller dropshipping from AMZN USA
 

This is not stealth related,but there is an Ebay seller based in Indonesia and relying on AMZN to ship ,her prices are always the lowest,I assume she does not mind making less than the other as US $ translated into Indonesian rupee is worth the efforts.
Some of her buyers have complained in their feedback,but is this fine with Ebay?
if a buyer wants to return an item,he or she would be returning to an AMZN warehouse in USA,but how does she send them a return label?

I'm also dropshipping also from AMZN before.
You can always ask for a FREE return label from amzn, and you get the refund right after it's been successfully returned to their warehouse.
Sometimes, I just send my reship address to the buyers, let them ship and pay the postage fee. And I refund them together with the total cost of the item.

I still don't see how drop shippers make money. The margins must be razor thin right?

if you are in a foreign country where the standard of living is low and the local currency is weak,earning US $ is very attractive.
As for the US sellers ,they have a prime account with AMZN so shipping could be free and they charge ebay buyer a shipping fee and that could be their net profit after fees(paypal and ebay),or they may even have the inventory on hand,some of the AMZN items are add on,like if your order is $25 or more,some add on items can be have for low price,like dental floss,and what not.
you dont get rich doing so,but you have no outlay of capital.

Sample:
If a dropshipper can earn 10$ per item

$10.00 = 520PHP

55PHP - 1 kilo rice
180PHP - 1 kilo chicken
200PHP - A LOT of veges
85PHP - Savings (reserve for other expenses)

How much more if we earn more than $10.00 per day :)

there is so much competition among these AMZN DROPSHIPPERS,to make $10,they would have to sell ten items,they may sell 3-5 per day.
thats not much cushion for any chargeback ($20 chargeback fee if he loses),or scams.
One seller was selling electronics like TV set ,there were so many returns,AMZN shut down his prime account

US $ is a double edge sword,if you lose a case,it is in US$.

No, he means the margin, say you're buying for $20 selling for $21, in this you'd be selling for $30 getting $10 profit.

That's exactly what i meant with the sample i had.
I never listed items that would profit me for just $1.00. That would waste my time and effort. So far the lowest margin i could get is around $20.00 per item.

ok,so I received an item from Indonesian Ebay seller,it was shipped by AMZN .
I paid her or him $18.11 free shipping,the item is for sale on AMZN for $15.95,if you have prime account,shipping is free.
so ebay seller sold for 18.11- 15.95 =2.16
2.16 minus ebay 10% FVf of 1.81 and Paypal 30 cents plus 54 cents,it comes to negative 49 cents,she lost money on this sale.
I looked at all her items,they all look like AMZN items, she is selling one for $9.27,amzn sells for $7.99,she will lose 22 cents.
so why is she or he doing it?

Well here is the deal, if you drop ship something from Aliexpress to ebay and charge $3.49 shipping and margin is $1.51 will make $5 profit, minus fees. So that is not bad for clicking computer twice. Aliexpress normally ships with tracking free.

Aliexpress seller ships first class China Post and it could take 30 days to arrive,how man buyers want to wait 30 days.
and the packaging is very slim,
also Ali sellers are also selling on the same venue as you do,so where is the beef?
the pictures you see is not always the item you received,they have since use cheaper material and workman ship and if they cant find what you order,they will just throw in something similar.
Some have run into problem with their govt for polluting the air,so temporarily shut down.
but some work out nicely,and there is money to be made !

I know you think I'm a low-volume seller, but I've made a shiit-ton of money on popular products with a $1-2 margin.

It can definitely be done.

dropshipping from AMZN due to competition,the margin is very slim,but if you dropship from manufacturer on higher priced items,the margin is very good.
you figure if the manufacturer wholesale price to you is $100 and retail markup is $200 and you sell for $165,thats enough to cover all the fees and make a decent profit for yourself $43.
you just have to find the right product from the right manufacturer,BTW,real manufacturer and wholesales are like defense contractors who dont eat quiche,they take cashier check,corporate check or wiretransfer.

If the manufacturer enforce MAP, you'll sell at for MSRP and nothing less.
