Default Selling high price item on eBay- possible risks?

Hello,
I have had my stealth ebay and PayPal account for a couple of months now, I am planning to sell a product worth around £650 by auction on eBay, I have been selling products worth £60 through auction but I was wondering whether suddenly selling a £650 product will bring up red flags with eBay and PayPal or will it be ok? Thanks for your responses.

Depends on what item you are selling
and your eBay account history - much better if you have an aged account.
Nonetheless, it would be just fine

Highly depends on the item and the accounts whole history, the amount on its own is high risk, so if the item is high risk too.... that's not good.

I have an iPhone which I don't use (android lover)

In regards to the account history I only sell product less than £10 and bid items less that £50

Iphones are high risk.

You may encounter a limitation, you may not. Its certainly a risk though.

I'd only consider selling an item like that if the account had money regularly running through it, and it has no holds on any incoming funds.

650 is not that high an amount, either Ebay or Paypal could put a hold on it up to 21 days, but if you upload tracking ,it could be released after 3 days.

Yeah, 650 is a high amount for eBay. Unless he has history on PayPal, they'll probably limit his PP and say goodbye.

ebay has a customer service dept catered to sellers who sell items $1k or more,so $600 is not expensive.
unless she is new, high risk items, selling above her normal price range
