Ebay got soft?
 

So i listed his item that is clearly not allowed to be listed and EB did remove it
but they didn't tell me anything nor sent me email.
The listing just disappeared like i never even listed it.

Is the account suspended or went NARU?

Can you re-list anything?

The lack of an email doesn't always mean nothing happened.

Nothing happened to the account. I always get ''your listing was removed'' emai and
3 or 7 days restriction but nothing this time. Really strange.

That's odd. Even so, you are treading on thin ice if you keep re posting your listings that's been removed.

Next time, you might not be so lucky and will kill your account.

I got perma limited account this way. No emails nothing, no 7day or 30day... Just straight banned after 10yrs.

After many calls they said it was "authorities" that requested closure of account. Nothing they could do.

IV had this before. Listed items that shouldn't be there. Items just disappeared. Not in unsold or anythiy. Just gone.nothing happened after either. Don't think eBay is going soft though

Well i expected at least a warning from Eb.
Item never went live i think. I was removed before it went live.

how do you know it's gone? When i list something on a new account, it's invisible for like 36 hrs, i wouldn't be able to find it on ebay

If I recall, if the listing is very very dangerous, eBay would just pull it and not say a word.
Whatever happens after that I don't know. This is basing my memory from many years ago on someone who told me but I never got an update.

So I'm not sure what you're selling but if it's illegal... don't risk it.

yes this happened before. actually a few sold but the listing was removed/disappeared... no email no message just poof... only way i knew anything had even sold was when i logged into PP :comp5::surrender::brushteeth:

Lol ebay has not got soft, trust me.

They don't always tell you anything because they know people will circumvent there policies / rules, but it's on record.

You keep offending then they will get a specialist to take a look at your account and write up a list of all the things you did wrong and indefinitely suspend you on those grounds, trust me.

That is the beauty of stealth, to test what can and won't work without jeopardizing your main account(s).

this just happened to one of my accts
a bunch of listings removed - no email - called in and they said since my account is in good standing they just removed the listings and it doesnt effect my account.

another one of my accts - listings removed and got selling restriction for 3 days ad i did get an email.

Don't believe what eBay told you that they simply removed those listings and it doesn't affect your account.

If there’s anything I learned about the world, there is no business specially big ones that’ll ever get soft.

They’ll always become harder due to cat and mouse game with criminals.

1 bad apple is all it takes to make everything more expensive and difficult
