Coincidence or not?
 

Hello all,

I want to begin this thread by stating that I AM NOT A RACIST. However, I have begun to notice that every time a Chinese person buys from me, they abuse eBay's return policy or just chargeback. I have had three chinese buyers in the last few months and they've all done dodgy returns on me. Surely, I am not the only person to have experienced this from them?

I’ve experienced the same but not the Chinese, it’s the Vietnamese in my case. Duh Nguyen, Thanh long, etc names like that.

I have all Muslim countries banned and also China

Ever since that I’ve noticed a giant decline in chargebacks, theft and hate messages trying to scam me.

I've suffered chargebacks as well but from users with african names. It's usually to an address that fowards mail in my case. I always hold on to the goods for an additonal 24 hours but lie to the buyer and say it's been dispatched to see whether the chargeback happens and I have been right in a few instances in the past.

I think if too many chargebacks happen you can expect paypal to suspend you.

Even domestically, I seem to have more "problem" buyers from certain states such as New York, California, or Oregon. Ironically I get many orders from Texas, but have few problems with them. New York in my case is so bad, I cancel orders if I see I buyer from that state. Not sure why.

Is this sh!t really what the forum has come to? If so I'm not sure if I want to be a part of it any longer.

We could say that Ebay is racist because they allow us to block whole continents like Africa

Let me be specific, I am mainly talking about NYC. The bit*hing, whining, and number of returns, bad feedback from New Yorkers had gotten so bad on 8 of my "key" stealth accounts, I state "NO NEW YORK SALES" in my listings. In the event I get an order anyway, I simply cancel the sale and message the buyer referring to my terms of sale.

If the customer asks why I canceled the sale, I simply say "high risk" or something like that.

New Yorkers are a real PITA for sure, next is NJ, CA, and the Pacific Northwest.

If I see an account with an eastern name and 5 or less feedback, I either add signature verification to the parcel or cancel the order.

Me too, they always claim "item not received" as I don't ship with tracking.

post service is different ,may be slow, lost packages ,perhaps pinch them many factors..

When shipping with global shipping program, can the buyer return or leave bad feedback? Is it like a normal return?
