Is eBay extremely slow the past 2 days for you????

For the past 2 days, August 8th & 9th 2009, eBay has been EXTREMELY slow for me when I try to log into "My eBay"

It does it on both my Macs, iMac & Laptop.
It does it on different accounts, so it is not account specific.

Is anyone else seeing this issue?
Or is it just me???

I haven't noticed any thing unusual with eBay on my end except one thing: Sometimes the star next to my User ID will not appear and it makes my OCD act up. :(

No problems for me.

Mines are fine. Not sure if ebay servers use load-balancing or not, if not, you may check with their tech support to find out if there is any server issue lately.

Is eBay extremely slow the past 2 days for you????

Hi,

Yes I am having similar issues with ebay servers for the last two days 8/8-8/9/09. Anytime I want to click on an auction for more details, it is painfully slow. And sometimes I get an ebay server time out error message. I have experienced this on both my mac laptops and PC. I contacted tech support and they said everything is fine...but they are the last to know what is going on. Not sure what to do other than grin and bear it...for now.

Been terrible for me... may not be relevant but I updated Firefox & have had problems:pout:

My FireFox current version is 3.0.13. I only use FireFox. Have not used IE for a while.

I only know the following information because I'm a nosy parker.

Several ISPs are rolling out infrastructure upgrades in the form of hardware and head-end software. For quite a few cable customers, DOCSIS 3 is being tested as well as enhanced BPI+ finally being implemented.

Rogers, Comcast, Telstra, BigPond, Charter, Earthlink, and quite a few others are actively making changes. That has been causing QoS issues and total down-time - sporadically.

Perhaps that explains why some have had issues and others have not.

I am using Firefox 3.5.x still not happy with matters :pout:
