And what's this commit to buy shiit? Paypal is the ONLY option. Not even an option, just pre-selected for you.

I backed out of it, then went to checkout and it will let me pay with a card or whatever, but I LITERALLY CANNOT remove it from my cart! Since I have committed to buy it, I have to contact customer service to remove it. Yeeaahhhh, phuck that!

Wonder if that's because so many people request cancellations on Ebay. Least in my experience compared to AMZ!

Never really been an issue for me.

I assume if eBay is no longer giving buyers the option to cancel their order there's going to be a surge in returns from buyers who wanted their order cancelled. That's going to suck because we are now expected to pay for any and all returns in order to maintain a decent account.

The spring update also says that they're modifying the seller protection program so that accounts in better standing will have more protection offered to them. I extract from that : you'll have to be Top Rated/Plus in order to get the full benefits of eBay Seller Protection.

So, no cancellations = higher returns = higher losses since we will have to pay for those returns in order to be protected from scamming buyers.

They're really covering all their bases. They're eliminating every part of their company they've ever lost money on, haha.

:suspicious:

Perhaps good for sellers too

Do people still request totals from sellers? So many listings are free shipping except for auctions.

I think it means there will be less waiting to get your money from buyers who dont pay immediately - for BIN that dont require immediate payment.

AMZ has integrated a 'backorder' system. I wish ebay would do that. All my wholesalers do, which pisses me off a little, but it's hella smart because it locks up a customer's money in YOUR business, even if you're still waiting for your shipments to arrive from overseas.

If this is regarding the picture I posted of me ONLY being able to pay with PP, I'm not sure what you took from it to make you change over to MP? Do tell...

I still never tried that damn gift card lol...

Paypal is a buyer option in there now, which you pointed out.

I'd been holding off before because there was no point in switching if I still wouldn't be able to accept PP payments. Now that PP is accepted it's a major improvement over my merchant account.

What I was pointing out is that Paypal was the ONLY option for that buyer. Not that it was JUST an option. The checkout process is entirely different. And I'm probably going to get an unpaid item strike on me for clicking on the link.

Whatever it is, is weird.

I found that Adyen also payouts to Visa/MC, Skrill, Neteller, Paypal and Paysafecard.
Card payouts can be country spesific like PayPal.

I run into the same ,just ignore it,it is just another Ebay gimmick to make you buy and pay.
On cancelled orders, there are so many Ebay sellers who just copy pictures from AMZN,WMT,so after you place your order with them and then you find out you can get it cheaper on AMZN or Wmt,YOU want your order cancelled,do you blame them?

I price search BEFORE I buy. Not sure why you get butthurt so bad about finding it cheaper, later. SO petty.
