Drop shipping from Amazon to eBay is now a Violation

Drop shipping, where you fulfill orders directly from a wholesale supplier, is allowed on eBay. However, listing an item on eBay and then purchasing the item from another retailer or marketplace that ships directly to your customer is not allowed.

Be aware and be alert. This can now get you banned for sure.

It seems to be rolling out officially now. Where did they list it being banned before?

That is correct, they do not want you to do FBA from Amazon and advertise their website, you can do drop ship from fulfilled by merchant on Amazon.

What I want to stop is other eBay sellers listing my product for more money then get me to send their orders for them. I believe that violates PayPal's policy that if you do not have the stock you should not take the money.

What is especially annoying is that I have one seller who is in Bulgaria has a foreign registered PayPal account, states they are shipping from the USA.

2 bad points about this is these buyers if you upset them on one order can leave you loads of negative feedback over one instance and eBay is now withholding foreign registered PayPal account holders money in my PayPal account until the order is delivered then released.

In fact these drop shipping schemes that you see advertised on you tube are the next biggest scam. Just think about it if I had a great business running making loads of money from drop shipping why would I teach others to do it.

Brother you are very misinformed. I wish could type more but I am on my phone. Anyways PayPal has never had policy against drop shipping. There are plenty of drop shippers that use traffic from Facebook to drop ship from Ali express. I have personally provided PayPal documents showing I drop ship from Amazon on numerous occasions.

I don’t know of any drop shipper who would leave negative feedback or negative review to other Amazon sellers. I have never done that or have even thought to do that. Also a lot of drop shippers aren’t only using Amazon so even if this was an issue it doesn’t apply to other retail sources.

You have no idea how profitable drop shipping business is. While I would agree that coming up with a course on DS and advertising it on YouTube is a bit scammy it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t work. It works very well unless you know what you are doing otherwise like with any business you will fail.

DROPshipping from wholesaler/manufacturer has been around since day of commerce,some items are shipped direct from the factory,nothing wrong with that,but the sellers are usually licensed distributor or retailers who have an account with the manufacturer/distributor.
but listing hundreds of photos from AMZN with a small markup and then make AMZN ship to your Ebay buyers often turn the buyer off,what some do is to file item not as described and return the item and then buy from AMZN direct for less.
Some sellers wont even ask you to return the item,just refund your money.
Unless you are selling high ticket items with high markup,else you have to rely on volume to make it worthwhile,after ebay FVF and Paypal fee/

yes,I received plenty of packages from Ebay sellers,goingback to 1990s.
You may not care but I do,and plenty of other Ebay buyers do too,and they left negative feedback,and/or return the items as item, not as described,making the seller look bad.

WE CAN ARGUE ALL DAY LONG BUT EBAY does not like it,and the buyers do not like it.
so if buyers keep negging you,report to Ebay,sabatage your seller account,filing item not as described,you may not find it profitable to continue,it is up to you,of course you are going to tell us how well you are doing despite all the above.

Some sellers have their AMZN prime membership suspended due to too many returns,one sells electronics on Ebay and AMZN suspended his prime account due to too many returns.
TV sets,laptops,cameras,smart phones,these returned items are costing AMZN too much money

and your older accounts are amzn and your own items?
it could be tracking number which gives the clue?

Mix of amazon and other retailers. Same story on the accounts that aren't banned. I think its more leeway for older accounts. IDK though

Work around I've thought of would be to send buyer a letter/padded envelope with tracking and inside just say "thanks for your purchase, your item was shipped directly via amazon with tracking number (amazon tracking # etc). That way your packages all ship from same location and they can't claim not received.
