gsp refund? telling me to return.
 

hi i purchased an item and paid for postage via the global shipping program. im trying to open a damaged in transit case. as it was damaged. its not the sellers fault. but im not getting the option to just open a case stating damaged in transit. it telling me to open a return request. i dont want to return it and dont want the seller to have any problems. i paid 170£ to have this delivered from the states.using the gsp. so returning it is impossible . how can i go about just opening a case and stating damaged in transit?

contact the seller, so that they can refund you without a case, and claim from GSP (as they are the shipper). YOu can attach a pic of the damage. If the seller does not refund you within a timely manner, just open a SNAD, as you gave them a chance to resolve it.

first contact seller,if he knows how to use GSP,he should know how to proceed with item damaged in transit.
GSP has insurance policy which covers such,whether you will be asked to return the item,it is up to GSP.

There is a company in ERLINGER,KENTUCKY where GSP is based,anything GSP find not fit to be shipped overseas,will be turned over to them to sell on Ebay,at the same time,it will refund the buyer and let the seller keeps the payment.
In you case,I suspect they will just let you keep the item,refund in full and let seller keeps your payment,since their insurance policy will cover the loss.
