eBay Fees
 

Since most of my accounts have been converted to this PayPal Cash/Claim crap, I can't pay my eBay fees with my balance anymore. Ever since I started stealth a few years ago, I've always been told paying fees with the bank account is a bad idea since it can see your name on the receipt.

Is there a good way to pay eBay fees without having to go out and buy a prepaid card everytime? $4.95 fee per card is throwing money out the window.

If not, is it safe to use my bank account to pay my stealth account fees?

You can attach your bank account to your eBay account in the "one time payment" page and pay that way. It's safe.

Doesn't really matter as long as you don't try linking the same bank account to two different eBays.

So if I pay with Paypal that has my bank account attached- it would come out of my bank account and show them my real name but if I add my bank account to Ebay as a one time payment it wont?

I totally forgot this rule and am now freaking out as Ive paid the last 2 months with Paypal which used my bank accounts. I did this with two Stealth Ebays and each payment came through a stealth PP. I have an insanely common name but of course not the same as my stealth name.

Prepaid gift cards from walmart cost $4.95 at purchase and they can't be reloaded, so you'd have to keep paying that $4.95 every time you need to pay fees.

If eBay sees your name, they don't care. All I can accurately say.

But one day they might care idk that’s why I always use a prepaid you can load up to $500 on one but since the beginning of ebay they haven’t cared about the name on the bank account

how does buying a walmart giftcard work? for example what is the name on the giftcard?

"Valued Customer" usually.

There's no name and they work with whatever address you register them to.

My banker told me they can't see our names when we make a purchase, only the account, and routing numbers.

Coinbase can see the name on your bank account.

When I tried linking my bank account to my wife's coinbase last year, it was rejected and Coinbase told me it was because the names didn't match.

Bankers may not be aware of the latest technology.. I unno. Coinbase isn't using micro deposits or 3rd party instant verification like Paypal does. They have some kind of technology that allows them to check the name on your bank account instantly because it either adds or rejects the BA on the spot in the app or on the website.
