Getting 0/0 Selling limits
 

Hello All,

I've recently been creating new eBay accounts and I keep getting 0/0 Selling limits. I really don't understand what the cause is.

I am creating accounts via tethering my mobile data to my laptop and making sure to change my IP when I create a new account. I've only got a VCC attached to my PayPals which I bought from this site. I am making sure to use CCleaner when creating new accounts.

Its been happening since last week. Ebay have tweaked the system, its nothing you are doing wrong.

Any known fixes?

Could it be VCCs that they are not accepting anymore?

Would linking a bank account instead allow me to sell?

The restriction happens before you even set up the automatic payment method, so no.

It's getting difficult to pass the EU limit verification as well.

So with 0/0 limits and not getting passed the EU Limits.

It's going to deter many from even trying stealth anymore. Which is exactly what ebay / paypal want.

What sort of questions do they ask?

How much are the items going to sell for

How fast do you post out items

Would be nice if their live chat was always up. Sometimes you have to really go hunting just to find it or it's just not there altogether.

I’ve found it a bit hit and miss with this over the last week. It could also be a bug because the ones with 0 / 0 seem to have a dollar selling amount even though their are UK accounts

Best thing to do is just stop making accounts until its patched.

Just failed another EU verification today. All that effort gone to waste.

Just call them, likely only get 10 items $500 or some crappy limit to start with.

How did you fail? Did they ask you questions you could not answer?

@OP, not using new window user accounts? Just CCleaner and same user account for new pp/eb creation?

No questions get asked. Documents submitted were rejected and account permanently limited.

The issue has got nothing to do with that. It started last Friday and is ongoing.

Well, that was surprisingly easy. I called in and to get limits increase I just had to link my PayPal account to my eBay account.

Although eBay/PayPal have parted company, they are still wanting to see an account is “sound’. There is a preference to see eBay and PayPal linked.

With this recent tweak, personally I am waiting before attaching a bank account.
Try to look over threads in both the eBay discussion and PayPal talk.

There will be snippets of info that you can use....and keep asking the questions. Try to do this before committing an account to scrutiny from eBay/PayPal.

Lol ok because i was gonna say just made an account today and got the good ole 5/500 limit but yeah i think linking the paypal to ebay is pretty important part. :pound::pound:

I received the 0-0 selling limit after creating a new stealth account today. I clicked on the option for e bay to call me on the phone number i had registered with. I told the representative on the phone ''i am a new seller, selling an item for my son'' and within 1 minute got the 10/500 increase.
