Please help, I have $10k in eBay sales that I cannot receive
So my paypal account was banned for a STUPID reason - it's all my fault. I disputed an Uber Eats meal with my bank because uber sent me the wrong food. I completely forgot I ordered it with Paypal and not my credit card so when they chargeback happened my Paypal account was permanently limited.
Anyway, I now have $10,399.96 in sales that I cannot receive on eBay because my paypal account has been banned.
What can I do? Please help me!
As you can see, I no longer have a PayPal account attached to my eBay. I think it was automatically removed when I got banned: https://prnt.sc/nr3qmr
Here's my ebay seller dashboard. As you can see I have 25 ratings and it's all 100% feedback. It would be really sad to lose this account and have to make the auctions again, but I'm looking for something long term that I can make a permanent career out of. https://i.imgur.com/mSuzt8x.jpg |

Was it a stealth account ? if you are banned you should hopefully be able to withdraw the funds after 180 days
As for now. You could try asking the buyers if they are willing to pay you via bank transfer. So refund them on paypal and then accept payment via bank transfer. |

Don't get to excited just yet. Some other user here "assad" got permanently suspended on his legitimate account as well when he hasn't done anything wrong.
Surely we are all entitled to filing a chargeback. I think because you didn't open a paypal dispute first but went straight to the credit card company they limited you. CALL THEM. Have a discussion. Fairly sure you will get this back after verification if needed. |

I did call them. I even sent emails but they said their decision was final and I will never be unbanned. I pleaded with them on the phone for 30 mins, I even spoke to multiple people and their supervisors. They all just say "it's a business decision to not work with you or your wife again"
They even banned my wife because they linked credit cards and we have a joint credit card that we both use. She hardly even uses paypal, but she's had that account since 2013 and did nothing wrong. |

| Don't really know what else to say. Your account is now toast for the sake of a cheap meal.
Better start making stealth accounts now.
The money held in your account will no doubt be released in 180 days as it's a legit account so you don't need to worry about the funds. |

@venom - you could see if you're eligible to get into eBay managed payments. They're starting to let more sellers in now.

| I completely forgot that I paid using PayPal. Uber eats refused to refund me so I went to my bank. If I knew I used PayPal I would’ve just made a dispute.

I don't think PP is out here banning every person that make a chargeback.
Probably a mixture of that, and you selling $3500 items on an obvious low-transaction account. |

Venom, this is a sticky situation, have you tried calling paypal and tell them the situation and see what they'll be willing to do to reinstate the account? |

| Correct. Paypal will suspend your account if you file a chargeback with the bank instead of with them. It cost them money when people do that and they are sensitive about it. |
