Ebay link by messages send on ebay.
 

Hey, so I've got a question - I was running a store on ebay, it got banned and always when a buyer bought an item I had a constant message that I was sending to my buyer, it was an email address to contact for help if needed and other and now there's my question - I am now running a stealth ebay acc and can my account get linked to the banned one when I'm gonna send the same email address for example in the message to my buyer as on the banned account? Or ebay can't link you by messages?

You'll get banned simply for sending your email contact info to buyers. You won't be linked - sharing your email like that is an infraction by itself.

Instead of doing that, it would be a lot less risky to just include your customer service email inside the package you send to the buyer. Their message filters will pick up your email address in the message and you'll quickly get in trouble.

Gotcha, but I was selling also video games - so after a purchase I was able to give my buyer the details to login into the account, so he can download the game and play and then I was sending a physical game box. One of my buyers returned the item so I still got the game and my question is if I'm gonna send those details that I send on the previous ebay account by the ebay message on the new ebay account can I get linked?

I use shipstation for all my orders, and it automatically gives me the buyers email. I usually email them from my support email and let them know if they have any issues, to email me or ebay inbox me.

I can't change email on the accounts, so don't want to get my accounts took down.

I personally don't think ebay would be searching through milion of messages for a link but I would better ask because everything is possible.

Their message filters are automated. Only flagged messages are checked by a person and by including an email your messages would probably be flagged.

Ouako had the best idea. You could eliminate any risk by emailing buyers directly using the email address from the sales record.

thats bull****. i sell without paypal and if someone asks for paypal i send them my paypal adress. i send the same paypal on all my 25 accounts and never got banned because of link

No it's not. I've been in trouble because of eBay message filters several times.

Not that I know of. Anytime I try to sneak an email address into an eBay message I get a warning from eBay. It's been that way for 2 years now. Only thing that still works is uploading email address as an image attachment.

Mine do, because it will say in the message something like "you can find our contact info in the attached image if you'd like to move forward with your custom order".
